Qualificações

Could you be the Bid Manager in São Paulo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in bids and signalling systems to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and goal-oriented teammates.

You'll play a key role in driving successful bid management processes, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and Alstom’s strategic goals. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, finance, legal, and procurement), manage risk assessments, and ensure adherence to deadlines, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of leading national and international bids and developing strategies for the transportation and information markets, but also liaise with multicultural and matrix teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

We’ll look to you for:

Managing bids for signalling systems in the rail market

Ensuring alignment with customer expectations, technology breakthroughs, and competitive landscapes

Driving financial results and ensuring cost-effective solutions

Conducting risk analysis (financial, legal, and political) and implementing mitigation strategies

Collaborating with internal and external partners to motivate and achieve results

Ensuring adherence to deadlines while maintaining quality and rigor


All about you

Engineering Degree (Master equivalent or above) in Telecom, Electrical, Electronics, or Automation

More than 8 years of experience as a bid manager

Experience in signalling systems within the rail market

Knowledge of transportation and information markets, including customer expectations and business models

Strong analytical and synthesis skills

Experience in risk analysis methods

Understanding of technical/engineering issues, contracting, finance, and product specifications

Fluency in English and Portuguese; Spanish advanced

Effective active listening, communication, and negotiation skills

Ability to work in a multi-cultural and matrix organization

Focus on simple solutions to complex problems

Strong process orientation and financial result-driven mindset
