Job Title

Bid Management Principal Specialist

Summary of the role:

The Bid Management Principal Specialist leads the preparation of proposals and manages the submission process to ensure timely, within-budget, and strategic bids to clients. The role involves ensuring all client requests are thoroughly addressed and maximizing the chances of success.

The Amadeus AirOps business unit supports airports, airlines, and ground handlers by providing technology solutions that enhance operations and passenger experience, including biometrics, self-service solutions, and automated rebooking services.

In this role you’ll:

• Research, write, and organize information professionally
• Conduct interviews
• Understand and optimize proposals based on evaluation criteria in RFPs
• Review products and services to communicate unique selling points
• Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines
• Create, edit, and revise proposals, incorporating feedback
• Maintain proposal consistency following company policies
• Create graphics and visuals for projects
• Ensure environmental, health, safety, information security, and data privacy policies are adhered to
• Participate in waste separation and environmental initiatives

About the ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, Economics, or related fields, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience as a Tendering Manager, Bid Manager, or similar roles
• Experience in proposal writing is required
• Knowledge of the aviation industry, including security and smart facilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and plan strategically
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Willingness to travel as needed
