About the Role

The Bid Management Analyst writes responses to customer security requests and vendor forms – which help renew or win new sales contracts or contribute to the overall development and production of winning sales proposals – and positions LexisNexis Risk Solutions as the preferred provider for data, technology, and analytical solutions.

Supports Proposal Managers and our sales organization and works with multiple functional areas such as pricing, legal, product, technical, and marketing departments (response team) to complete vendor forms or security questionnaires that contribute to persuasive responses to customer requests, solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, etc.), and other proposal documents.

Responsibilities

  • Managing completion of government vendor forms, security questionnaires, and responses to other requests from government customers and prospects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and other service levels.
  • Collaborating with security, legal, product, and other professionals throughout the organization to collect and compile responses needed to complete the forms, questionnaires, etc.
  • Composing clear, concise answers to customer inquiries or requests for clarification.
  • Supporting the development of a content library.
  • Meeting form/questionnaire deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, reviews, approvals and signatures.
  • Promoting company-wide understanding and adherence to established corporate processes.
  • Maintaining basic working knowledge of LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and services, business strategies, plans and competition.
  • Evaluates and recommends process improvements.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Fluent English speaker and writer.
  • Bachelor’s level degree in a related subject area, e.g., Communications, English, Business, or Journalism.
  • Advanced MS Office suite skills
  • Effective writing, editing and business communication skills
  • Excellent business communication and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and collaborative.
