We are seeking a creative, goal-oriented, and highly technical person to join our fast-paced team. Our vision is to be the provider of the most innovative, secure, and customer-friendly payment options in LatAm, offering access, engagement, and affordability through our seamless products.

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative BI Engineer to enable Amazon Brazil's growth through the implementation and support of business intelligence solutions for payments products and programs. This role involves providing insights for business decision-making, supporting team growth by managing complex reporting, and handling structural changes in data tables and concepts. It is both strategic and hands-on.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, knowledge of business intelligence solutions, strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate with quantitative and business teams. You should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, detail-oriented, adaptable to a fast-changing environment, and passionate about innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand Amazon’s data resources and determine how, when, and which to use.
2. Collaborate with teams to understand business challenges and provide data-driven insights.
3. Develop key metrics and performance indicators for continuous improvement.
4. Create self-service reporting platforms and automate large-scale data analysis processes.
5. Write high-quality queries to retrieve and analyze data.
6. Define analytical strategies and metrics to uncover insights and recommend improvements.
7. Manage local data infrastructure and coordinate with global teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience analyzing data with tools like Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar.
• Proficiency with industry analytics visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and statistical methods.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or R.
• Master’s or advanced technical degree.
• Knowledge of data modeling and pipeline design.
• Experience with statistical and correlation analysis.
