Position Overview

A Banquet Captain is responsible for overseeing the set-up and clean-up of food and beverage during banquet functions, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise food and beverage service during banquet events to ensure quality and satisfaction
• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing various banquet functions such as breakfast, luncheons, dinners, and receptions
• Greet and assist clients and guests, responding to requests promptly and courteously
• Lead department meetings and coordinate team efforts
• Process banquet checks accurately for payment
• Maintain guest satisfaction throughout the service
• Serve beverages in compliance with all relevant regulations

Qualifications and Skills
