ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior/Lead Python Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and evolving high-traffic digital platforms that reach millions of users worldwide. Your work will ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance, while driving improvements that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to influence core technical decisions, work with modern web technologies, and collaborate in a dynamic, globally recognized digital environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Monitor and maintain the health of production systems;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure system reliability and performance;
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and tools to support business needs;
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and testing.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years experience with Python programming;
• Python 2 experience and open to working with legacy code;
• Deep Python performance knowledge, experience with automated tests and distributed systems;
• Proficiency in writing efficient, maintainable, and scalable code;
• Strong problem‑solving skills for supporting operational needs;
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL);
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript);
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git);
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Ability to work independently and in a team;
• Upper‑intermediate English level.
