BairesDev is seeking an AWS Security Engineer to secure the foundational cloud infrastructure that powers our applications, integrating identity, networking controls, and data protection into the development lifecycle.

You will design IAM strategies, enforce least-privilege access, manage encrypted data, and drive continuous compliance across SOC2 and ISO 27001 while collaborating with global engineering teams.

Qualificações

• 4+ years in Cloud Security Engineering or Information Security.
• Experience designing IAM strategies across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on data protection with encryption, KMS, TLS.
• Familiarity with SOC2 and ISO 27001 compliance.
• Experience with governance in multi-cloud environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement IAM strategies ensuring least-privilege access.
• Configure network security controls including VPC isolation and firewalls.
• Develop IaC-based security guardrails for secure deployments.
• Oversee data protection: encryption and key management.
• Embed security requirements early with engineering teams and automate compliance.

AWS Security Engineer at BairesDev

As an AWS Security Engineer, you will be responsible for securing the foundational cloud infrastructure that powers our applications. You will act as a key link between security policy and engineering execution, ensuring that identity management, networking controls, and data protection are seamlessly integrated into the development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement comprehensive IAM strategies to ensure secure access and least-privilege principles across cloud environments.
• Configure and manage robust network security controls, including VPC isolation, firewalls, and web application protection.
• Develop and maintain automated security guardrails using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enable secure-by-default deployments.
• Oversee data protection mechanisms, ensuring consistent encryption and key management for data at rest and in transit.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security requirements early in the design phase and automate continuous compliance monitoring.
• Drive the organization’s adherence to global security frameworks like SOC2 and ISO 27001 through proactive governance and auditing.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering or Information Security.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing IAM strategies and network security controls across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with data protection mechanisms including encryption, KMS, and TLS.
• Strong background in ensuring cloud infrastructure compliance with frameworks like SOC2 and ISO 27001.
• Proficiency in managing security configurations and governance policies in multi-cloud environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
