Accenture is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AV Systems Engineering Coordinator to design, install, configure, and maintain audiovisual systems for event spaces and recording/broadcast studios. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background in AV technologies, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that exceed expectations. This role requires a proactive individual with leadership skills, who can work independently and collaboratively within a team to ensure seamless and effective AV operations.

Responsibilities:

System Design and Engineering:

Develop comprehensive AV system designs based on client needs and project requirements, including signal flow diagrams, equipment layouts, and cable schedules.

Select appropriate AV hardware and software components, considering performance, budget, and compatibility.

Collaborate with contractors, vendors, IT teams, and other stakeholders to integrate AV systems effectively within the overall infrastructure.

Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and user manuals.

Installation and Configuration:

Oversee the installation, wiring, and termination of AV equipment, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Configure and program AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, Pandoras Box, etc), digital signal processors (DSPs), video switchers, audio consoles, lighting desks, and other related equipment.

Calibrate audio and video systems to achieve optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.

Maintenance and Support:

Provide ongoing technical support for installed AV systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and longevity.

Diagnose and repair faulty equipment, coordinating with vendors for warranty repairs as needed.

Develop and maintain documentation for system maintenance procedures.

Coordination and Communication:

Coordinate, develop and provide appropriate guidance to the AV Tech team, ensuring seamless execution of studio and event operations.

Manage AV projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding project status, technical challenges, and solutions.

Ability to communicate clearly with non-tech savvy stakeholders.

Provide training to end-users on the operation of AV systems.

Continuous Learning:

Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technologies, trends, and best practices.

Participate in training programs and industry certifications to enhance technical skills.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5 years of experience in AV systems design, programming, and event support.

Strong knowledge of AV principles, signal flow, and equipment functionality.

Proficiency in configuring and programming AV control systems (preferably Crestron and Extron).

Experience with digital signal processors (DSPs), preferably Biamp.

Familiarity with Microsoft Teams.

Understanding of network protocols and integration of AV systems with IT infrastructure.

Advanced knowledge of Dante protocol.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and customer service skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Advanced English.
