Evonik is seeking an entry-level maintenance assistant in Brazil to perform basic maintenance, repair, and installation tasks under close supervision. You will support standard site management activities and help the quality team ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

This role is suited for candidates with a basic education and very limited prior work experience in a controlled industrial environment.

Qualificações

• Secondary/Intermediate education is required.
• Very limited work-based experience is acceptable.
• Clear and effective elementary verbal communication skills under supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out simple maintenance and repair tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
• Carry out simple installation tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
• Carry out standard site management tasks for clear requests.
• Support the quality function by working within strict quality standards.
• Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
• Follow a range of mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.

REQUIREMENTS

• Secondary / Intermediate + (5 GCSE)
• Very limited work based experience.
• Uses clear and effective elementary verbal communications skills under supervision to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
• Works under supervision at an elementary level to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
• Manages and applies safe systems of work with guidance (but not constant supervision).
• Works under supervision at an elementary level to develop, monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
• Works under supervision at an elementary level to review and create relevant, lucid and effective reports.
• Works under supervision at an elementary level to achieve full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
• Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and manages risks in a production process at an elementary level, under supervision.
