WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Design, develop, and maintain automation suites for both web and mobile applications using automation frameworks;
2. Build and integrate detection tools within CI / CD pipelines to prevent breaking code from being deployed;
3. Proactively notify stakeholders about breaking changes in production through automated systems;
4. Write, design, and execute automated test scripts to maximize test coverage for critical system features;
5. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to support various testing needs;
6. Document test automation processes, including test plans, procedures, and test cases;
7. Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve defects;
8. Plan, prioritize, and execute testing activities to meet deadlines and quality goals.

MUST HAVE

1. 2-3 years of Automation testing experience;
2. Experience in one or more scripting / programming languages such as JavaScript, Java OR Python;
3. Expertise in Playwright, Cypress, OR Selenium;
4. Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and pipeline management tools;
5. Proficiency in DataDog Synthetics or similar platforms for monitoring application performance and availability;
6. Experience in e-commerce applications is a must;
7. Ability to investigate, debug, and triage automation problems;
8. Ideal candidates are experts in automation testing and have previously worked on designing, developing, and maintaining automation tests, testing frameworks & tools used to automate integration and QA workflows;
9. Work experience with offshore / nearshore / onshore model is a must;
10. Upper-Intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

1. Familiarity with Elixir and the Phoenix framework is preferred;
2. Experience with Agile methodology is preferred.
