Responsibilities

• Support the Auditor in Charge (AIC) in scoping decisions, testing approaches, and audit workpapers throughout the audit lifecycle
• Draft and complete MR(I)A workpapers and audit documents
• Communicate effectively with senior audit management and audit clients regarding engagements
• Conduct fieldwork and ensure timely completion of workpapers
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and complete necessary training

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of audit or risk management experience within the financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting financial institutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to groups of professionals
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience working with a public accounting or risk advisory firm
