Job summary

Google is seeking an Associate Litigation Counsel and Corporate Counsel in Brazil to manage litigation risk and provide proactive legal guidance on consumer issues, product liability, and content moderation. Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of pre-litigation and litigation (including matter intake, tracking, fact finding, and preparation of briefs) and provide counseling to internal teams.


• Work with cross-functional partners across Google, including Legal, Product, Business, and more teams, to provide counseling on existing and potential litigation matters, advise on litigation risk and provide insights into Google’s docket in Brazil.


• Partner with outside counsel to take an active role in litigation and disputes, develop strategy to manage and win lawsuits.


• Help ensure product and operational compliance with Brazilian laws and regulations, and assist as necessary in the other work of the Brazilian Legal team to advise the business on our activities in Brazil.
