Google LLC is seeking an Associate Litigation Counsel for its Brazil team in São Paulo. You will engage with local stakeholders in English and Portuguese to advise on litigation strategy and risk across consumer issues and product liability matters.
You will collaborate with cross-functional partners and outside counsel to manage pre-litigation and active disputes, while ensuring compliance with Brazilian laws and advancing Google's interests in the region.

As Associate Litigation Counsel on the Brazilian legal team, you are an outstanding lawyer with a genuine interest in technology who thinks creatively and strategically. You are an adept litigation counsel, advising on a variety of legal matters that pose litigation risk to our business in Brazil, including lawsuits relating to consumer issues and product liability, content moderation and intermediary liability. You come up with creative ways to mitigate and eliminate those risks, and strive to think proactively to advance Google's position and interests by identifying and working on legal policy issues that affect our docket. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves to handle these issues, but at the same time are eager to pitch in where needed to assist our rapidly growing businesses in a collegial, fast-paced environment.
