Job Overview
Serve as a therapeutic and/or operational expert throughout the new business and program/project delivery lifecycle for the Real World Solutions group in IQVIA.
Essential Functions
- Develop effective delivery strategies for large, complex, multi-region studies or programs, including mega studies, tailored to customer needs, setting IQVIA apart from competitors.
- Partner with Sales, Medical, Operations, and other teams to secure new business and meet revenue targets.
- Champion project centricity by ensuring project teams understand and implement the sold strategy.
- Assess and adjust strategies based on project progress and trends.
- Support long-term growth through collaboration with Centers of Excellence and stakeholders.
- Create and optimize innovative delivery strategies for large-scale studies.
- Assist Sales in evaluating and managing new opportunities from initial receipt to award, including RFI responses and early engagement.
- Work with stakeholders to analyze data for developing feasible delivery solutions, including feasibility assessments, risk management, and site selection.
- Develop and review project budgets aligned with contribution and pricing strategies.
- Support internal reviews and senior leadership presentations of project strategies.
- Define project team structures and mentor project leaders through strategy handovers.
- Help prepare and support Sales in customer meetings and bid defenses, ensuring effective communication of strategies.
- Coordinate follow-up actions post-meetings.
- During project execution, evaluate and adjust strategies as needed to ensure success.
- Support enterprise growth through collaboration with therapeutic centers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in life sciences; advanced degree preferred; specialization in therapeutic areas.
- 12+ years of global clinical research experience, including operational delivery or drug development.
- Up-to-date knowledge of IQVIA services, clinical trial methodology, and real-world research, especially for RWLP strategy leads.
- Broad therapeutic and protocol knowledge.
- Strong understanding of biopharma industry, drug development lifecycle, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent decision-making skills, stakeholder communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking.
- Leadership skills with ability to work independently and lead virtual teams.
- Financial acumen and influencing skills.
- Flexibility to work across therapeutic areas and adapt to evolving specifications.
- Proficiency with technology and databases.
- Effective relationship-building skills.
