Summary:

Support the creation and implementation of digital engineering content, collaborating with suppliers, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to design documentation, product analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Create and manage digital engineering assets, including drafts and models to support global digital capabilities.
  • Coordinate and execute implementation of digital engineering content across platforms and teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce throughput time, cost and waste.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to support the development and integration of emerging digital technologies.
  • Mentor associate design engineers, providing guidance and support in digital engineering practices.
  • Translate functional requirements into detailed design documentation to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Conduct analysis of product components and configurations to support engineering decisions.

What you will have:

  • Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.

Basic requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Materials Science.

  • Pre-advanced English.

  • Experience with Autodesk Products (i.e., Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.)

  • Experience with facilitating projects or work efforts for continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Top candidates will also have:

  • Advanced English.
  • Experience with O365 tools.
  • Previous experience in drafting and/or design engineer.

Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days a week.
