IDC is seeking a Market Research Associate Analyst to join the Consumer Devices team. This role will be based out of our Sao Paulo office in a Hybrid work schedule will support the local and regional teams to act as Data Automation.

This role utilizes a hybrid work environment. We are seeking this position in Greater Sao Paulo, and other places within Brazil will be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Support local and regional teams in operational operations of reviewing and increase quality checks to improve the quality of the data presented, acting as Data Automation.
  • Conduct primary market research to gather and analyze data for consumer devices sales, trends, and market conditions.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor products, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all program deliverables.
  • Prepare and support regional teams to create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Design and implement surveys to collect primary data from consumers.
  • Utilize statistical methods and tools to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop market forecasts and predictive models to anticipate future trends and consumer behavior.
  • Maintain and update databases with relevant market data and research findings.
  • Collaborate with product development and data engineering to align research process with business strategies.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of economic principles and their application to market analysis.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and methodologies to interpret data accurately, including regression analysis, building predictive models using machine learning techniques such as linear regression, decision trees, and clustering algorithms.
  • Ability to use Python for data analysis, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy and Plotly.
  • Ability to use Power Bi for data analysis, reporting and delivering analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills to dissect complex data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Excellent skills in English reading and writing.
  • Intermediate skills in Spanish reading and writing.

This position is a PJ offering a monthly compensation between R$3,800 - R$4,150 (gross)
