Position Summary:
Responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling production activities, ensuring deadlines are met, materials are available, and production processes run efficiently. This role works closely with purchasing, inventory, production planning, and shop floor teams to maintain a smooth production flow and meet business demands.
Responsibilities and Specific Tasks:
Develop and monitor the production plan according to demand and installed capacity;
Control and adjust production schedules based on order variations or unforeseen events;
Perform materials planning using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to ensure availability and avoid shortages or overstocking;
Apply material planning strategies based on average consumption, lead times, and seasonality;
Interface with departments such as purchasing, warehouse, quality, and shipping;
Track production performance indicators (e.g., OTD, efficiency, waste);
Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements in planning processes;
Ensure accuracy of information in the ERP system.
