Ascension in Brazil, IN (ASV Clay) is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead Emergency/Triage, Adult or Pediatric/NeoNatal Critical Care, and Labor & Delivery teams. Evening, full-time role at ASV Clay.

You will oversee daily operations, ensure quality patient care, and collaborate with leadership on process improvements. Required: BLS within 30 days, RN license in Indiana; ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation preferred; 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualificações

• BLS provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date.
• RN credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing before hire date.
• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership to associates in one or more nursing specialty areas (Emergency/Triage, Adult, Pediatric/NeoNatal Critical Care, Labor & Delivery).
• Assess daily patient access needs and ensure appropriate patient care; oversee nursing department operations.
• Deliver quality patient care and ensure implementation of clinical objectives.
• Delegate duties to staff based on assessed skills and monitor proficiency.
• Collaborate with department leadership to ensure processes are current and followed.
• Participate in quality initiatives, audits, and improvement plans.
• Conduct hiring, training, development, and evaluation of staff.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership while directing activities of associates in one or more of the following nursing specialty areas: Emergency/Triage, Adult or Pediatric/NeoNatal Critical Care Departments, Labor & Delivery/Women & Family.

• Assess daily patient access needs and ensure that appropriate patient care is provided. Provide oversight involving all aspects of nursing department operations.
• Deliver quality patient care and ensure implementation of clinical objectives.
• Delegate appropriate duties to clinical staff based on their assessed skills and abilities, maintaining proficiencies related to job functions and processes through ongoing monitoring of daily operations.
• Collaborate with department leadership to ensure processes are up to date and followed.
• Participate with ongoing quality initiatives, auditing projects and development of plans for improvement.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
