What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide regulatory technical assistance and conduct mandated inspections of licensed substance use providers
- Monitor provider compliance through reviews of complaints and serious incident reports
- Issue and modify licenses and review requests to modify services
- Develop and implement systemic corrective actions for compliance issues
- Recommend licensing actions based on regulatory compliance findings

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Understanding of clinical assessments and their connection to service plan development
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, mental health diagnoses, and/or developmental disabilities
- Administrative, management, or quality assurance experience in public and private service delivery systems
- Experience interpreting regulations and policies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification as a Substance Use Counselor
- Knowledge of and experience using ASAM levels of care for treatment compliance monitoring
- Regulatory experience in the behavioral health field
