WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own the entire testing process for your team, including representing quality in cross-team discussions, requirements analysis, test planning, test case definition and execution, and test case automation;
• Be an advocate and champion of a quality mindset across your team and the product - ‘build quality in’, ‘automation-first’, and ‘shift left test’;
• Help define and implement performance/scale test strategy and capabilities;
• Monitor and improve CI/CD pipelines;
• Cultivate a deep understanding of business needs and the technical roadmap, and set clear quality standards in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering Leads;
• Maintain and extend the existing test automation framework, as well as evaluate and build out new frameworks in support of automation strategies.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of experience in delivering high-quality products and facilitating automation tests in an enterprise software environment;
• Knowledge of the complete QA cycle and experience with different types of testing, including building and expanding automation frameworks;
• Experience building automated API tests and frameworks with RestAssured or similar frameworks;
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, TestCafe, or Karate;
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS;
• A tester mindset and understanding of testing principles and methodologies;
• Experience with CI/CD and build pipelines;
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, Swagger or similar frameworks;
• Proficiency with Git, source code repositories, and code commenting tools;
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions;
• Knowledge of pull requests, cherry-picks, and merge conflict resolution;
• Experience writing performance test scripts with tools like Gatling, JMeter;
• Understanding of security best practices including OWASP;
• Strong communication skills and collaborative work ethic;
• Proven initiative and leadership skills;
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

• Some familiarity with TypeScript.
