A global manufacturing company based in Barueri, SP, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to assist customers with software-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess a technical education, experience in software support, and strong proficiency in VB.NET or C#. This hybrid role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to solve technical problems efficiently.

Qualificações

  • Technical education or related experience in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science is required.
  • Experience in software support and/or development is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with programming languages like VB.NET or C#.

Responsabilidades

  • Act as the first point of contact for software support requests.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in custom applications.
  • Document and maintain case information and support knowledge base.

What you will do:

  • Act as the first point of contact for software related support requests from regional and international customers.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in custom applications and provide accurate, timely resolutions.
  • Use and develop your knowledge of tools such asVB.NET, SQL, andindustrial communication protocols(e.g., OPC/PLC) to analyze and solve incidents.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers through proactive and clear communication.
  • Handle support cases via phone, email and ticketing system while meeting SLA expectations.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues (Support, Engineering, Project Management) to investigate and resolve complex issues.
  • Document and maintain case information and support knowledge base as part of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical skills through training, hands-on work, and collaboration.
  • Identify and prioritize issues appropriately.
  • Occasionally supporton-site deploymentsfor software implementation in coordination with the Project Engineering team.
  • Other duties needed in the team.

What you need to have:

  • Technical education or relevant experience in:Engineering, IT, Computer Scienceor a related field.
  • Experiencein software support and/or development.
  • Ability to workindependently and manage responsibilities in a remote or partially remote setup.
  • Experience withVB.NET, C#, or other programming languages.
  • Familiarity withSQLor similar database query languages.
  • Understanding of networking and server-client software structures.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across software, databases, and basic industrial environments.
  • Experience in anindustrial environments or production systemsis a plus.
  • ExcellentEnglishproficiency (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts (morning and afternoon)
  • Flexibility for occasionally being on call during the weekends(on average 1 weekend every 7-9 weeks and compensated)
  • Excellent communication skills and reasoning ability.
  • Availability to travel for project-related activities or training. (<5%)
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks.
