Overview

Founded in 2020, DRIMCo GmbH is a Munich-based startup that digitises industrial requirements in tender documents and optimises business processes using artificial intelligence and natural language processing technologies.

We are seeking a talented Application Support Engineer to join our team, initially as a contractor. The primary focus of this role will be maintaining and supporting our product DRIM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, with expertise in Windows Server, Linux, and Docker. Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset are very beneficial to effectively support our clients and ensure the smooth operation of the DRIM Software. About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, with a proven focus on supporting and maintaining enterprise applications in on-premises environments.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications.
• Understanding of databases and data manipulation.
• Proficiency in Docker, with hands-on experience deploying and managing containers in production environments.
• Experience working with private cloud solutions on Azure or AWS, with good knowledge of these cloud providers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure to resolve complex technical issues.
• Knowledge of documentation systems such as Confluence, SharePoint, Service-Now.
• Ability to adapt to each customer environment and provide effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Residency in Brazil, Mexico, or the USA is required, preferably near the EST timezone.
• Fluency in English is obligatory; knowledge of other European languages is a bonus.
• Experience of 3+ years using scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python in daily operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for supporting and maintaining DRIM software deployed at customer on-premises locations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Manage routine maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure stability and security.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement resolutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, maintaining SLAs.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as configurations, guides, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on using and optimizing the application.
