Overview

Founded in 2020, DRIMCo GmbH is a Munich-based startup that digitises industrial requirements in tender documents and optimises business processes using artificial intelligence and natural language processing technologies.

We are seeking a talented Application Support Engineer to join our team, initially as a contractor. The primary focus of this role will be maintaining and supporting our product DRIM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, with expertise in Windows Server, Linux, and Docker. In addition to technical proficiency, excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset to effectively support our clients and ensure the smooth operation of the DRIM Software is highly beneficial. About You

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting and maintaining enterprise applications in on-premises environments.
3. Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications.
4. Understanding of databases and data manipulation.
5. Proficiency in Docker, with hands-on experience deploying and managing containers in production environments.
6. Proven experience working with private cloud solutions on Azure or AWS, with good knowledge of these cloud providers.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure to resolve complex technical issues.
8. Knowledge of documentation systems such as Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow.
9. Ability to adapt to each customer environment and provide effective solutions.
10. Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
11. Residency in Brazil, Mexico, or the USA is required, preferably near the EST timezone.
12. Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of other European languages is a bonus.
13. Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python (3+ years) is a plus.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as the primary contact for supporting and maintaining DRIM software at customer locations.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
3. Perform regular maintenance, including updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure stability and security.
4. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement resolutions.
5. Coordinate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, maintaining SLAs.
6. Develop and maintain documentation such as configurations, guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
7. Provide training and guidance to stakeholders for effective application use and performance optimization.
