Overview

Description ActioNet is hiring an Application Development Lead who manages the full software development lifecycle for agency applications, ensuring compliance with SDLC standards and agency requirements. This role leads a team of developers in delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies. The Application Development Lead oversees CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and integration with the agency’s Kubernetes-based environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design, development, and maintenance of applications.
  • Manage SDLC documentation and code reviews.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps integration.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure application security, performance, and maintainability.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Proficiency in Angular, Node.js, MongoDB, GitLab, and OpenShift.
  • Experience with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with agency or federal application environments.
  • Certifications in secure software development or cloud platforms.
