Spring Professional Portugal is recruiting a Pricing Manager for a multinational insurance company, based in Lisbon. The role leads a pricing team, delivering analyses to support financial planning and strategy development.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in general insurance pricing, strong analytical skills, and experience with actuarial methodologies. English fluency is required, Spanish knowledge or willingness to learn is a plus, with travel as needed.

Qualificações

• Analytical degree ideally in actuarial, mathematical, statistical or Data Science studies.
• Ideally 5+ years' experience in a General Insurance Pricing role with people management experience.
• Strong analytical skills with experience applying actuarial/statistical methodologies to business problems.
• Ideally, knowledge of modelling software such as Emblem, RADAR, SAS, R, Earnix.
• Strong understanding of the general insurance industry and of the business implications of analytical results.
• Experience of working within a framework of legal and company policy procedures and guidelines, adhering to professional standards.
• Fluency in English is required and Spanish language skills or an interest in learning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team that deliver accurate and timely Pricing analysis to assist business decision making, financial planning, and strategy development.
• Designing and delivering the right analysis - customer focus.
• Ensuring that analysis is developed in line with best practices.
• Develop, analyse and monitor key performance indicators and assess expected and actual impact of pricing changes.
• Provide technical guidance on complex issues arising and as Subject Matter Expert input to evolving General Insurance Pricing strategy.
• Supervise the day-to-day actuarial operations for the unit by establishing priorities, scheduling, and assigning work.
• Use the objective setting and performance evaluation processes to ensure employees understand the expectations, receive regular feedback, and are appropriately developed and rewarded.
