Michael Page Portugal procura reforçar a sua equipa de backend em Porto com um engenheiro(a) Backend para desenvolver microserviços e ambientes cloud-native. A função envolve trabalhar com várias fontes de dados, containers e APIs REST, com foco em desempenho e escalabilidade em sistemas IoT.

São valorizados conhecimentos em Docker, Kubernetes, e experiência com .Net Core, Spring Boot ou Go, bem como proficiência em pelo menos uma das linguagens C#, Java, Kotlin, Go ou Node.js, e inglês fluente.

Qualificações

• Uma licenciatura em ciência da computação ou área equivalente.
• Experiência em desenvolvimento de microserviços, Serverless (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda).
• Docker based .Net Core, Spring Boot, Go.
• Experiência com sistemas de base de dados (CosmosDB, IronDB/InfluxDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, …).
• Forte conhecimento em desenho e implementação de APIs REST.
• Conhecimento de Kubernetes é uma mais-valia.
• Proficiência em pelo menos uma das linguagens C#, Java, Kotlin, Go, JavaScript (Node.js).
• Confiância no uso de metodologias de engenharia de software (TDD, patterns de design, clean code, controle de versões distribuído, code reviews, CI/CD).
• Fluente em Inglês.

Responsabilidades

• Desenvolver microserviços para aplicações distribuídas na nuvem.
• Otimizar desempenho e escalabilidade em sistemas IoT dinâmicos.
• Projetar, implementar e manter arquiteturas de microserviços com base em containerização, próximo de máquinas de produção e de UIs.
• Trabalhar com múltiplas fontes de dados como bancos de dados e filas de mensagens.
• Automatizar deployment para sistemas multi-tenant.

Our client is looking to expand its great backend development team in Porto.

Description

• Develop microservices to power cloud native distributed applications
• Optimize for performance and scalability in highly dynamic IoT systems
• Design, implement and maintain flexible microservice architectures based on containerization, close to production machines up to user facing UIs
• Work with a multitude of data sources like databases, message queues, etc.
• Automate deployment for multi-tenant systems

Profile

• A degree in computer science or a comparable course of studies
• Experience in microservice development, Serverless (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda)
• Docker based .Net Core, Spring Boot, Go
• Working experience with database systems (CosmosDB, IronDB/InfluxDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, …)
• Strong knowledge in design and implementation of evolving (REST) APIs
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Proficiency in at least one of C#, Java, Kotlin, Go, JavaScript (Node.js)
• Confidence in the use of standard software engineering methodologies (TDD, design patterns, clean code, distributed version control, code reviews, CI/CD)
• Fluent in English
