About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Android Engineer to lead the development of innovative mobile applications with a focus on cross-platform initiatives using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Jetpack Compose. Experience with iOS development is a strong plus, as you’ll help shape our cross-platform architecture and deliver products that seamlessly operate across Android and iOS ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain mobile applications leveraging KMP for shared business logic and Compose for modern UI design.
• Collaborate on cross-platform initiatives, contributing to both Android and iOS codebases when necessary.
• Analyze and optimize high-volume mobile systems for performance and scalability.
• Refactor and revitalize codebases as technology evolves.
• Lead development efforts for new products and enhancements to existing products in response to market changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system failures, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
• Work closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative features.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin
• Android Launcher experience is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or other cross-platform frameworks.
• Exposure to or experience with iOS development (Swift or Objective-C) is a strong plus.
• Strong architecture design skills and ability to build reusable UI components.
• Comfortable working on collaborative, fast-paced engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and passion for innovation.
