The Open Video project is dedicated to developing an advanced OTT platform for one of North America’s largest TV providers. We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to contribute to the software development of the client’s hardware platform based on Android OS. In this role, you will work on optimizing performance, enhancing user experience, and integrating AI-driven interactions using Prompt Engineering techniques.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and maintain TV application for a custom Android TV platform, leveraging modern software engineering techniques and best practices.
2. Collaborate closely with systems analysts, software architects, developers, and project managers to align technical solutions with business objectives.
3. Proactively identify and resolve issues, leveraging issue tracking, team collaboration, and planning tools to enhance productivity and minimize risks.
4. Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and effective onboarding for new team members.
5. Design and implement automated workflows for intelligent bug triaging and AI-assisted code improvements, integrating seamlessly into the development process.

Mandatory Skills Description :

1. Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
2. Proven expertise in Android development, including UI design, performance optimization, and debugging.
3. Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with experience in modern Android development frameworks and tools.
4. Strong expertise in prompt engineering, including optimizing AI interactions for efficiency, accuracy, and adaptability.
5. Python experience, with 1+ years of relevant work.
