Job Description: Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, process maps, user manuals, and policy and procedure documents.
- Document data requirements, data strategy, and data rules (standardization, cleanse and validation).
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and meta data including data definitions.
- Promote data accuracy and adherence to enterprise defined governance practices.
- Perform data validation and data cleaning as necessary.
- Understanding of multiple Data provider platforms / applications.
- Collaborate closely with business owners across functions, fully immerse yourself in data, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations.
(Senior) Analytics Engineer Requirements
- A minimum of 8+ years in the Data space as an analyst, engineer, scientist or equivalent.
- 5+ years working with a large-scale (1B+ Rows) Data Warehouse, preferably in a cloud environment (GCP, BigQuery, BigTable preferred).
- At least 2+ years building reports and dashboards in a Data Visualization tool (preferably Looker BI). Additional experience using Tableau, PowerBI, etc is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience leading 4 or more analytics projects from beginning to operationalization.
- Demonstrated experience designing and socializing E/R diagrams and reference SQL Scripts to scale data acumen and adoption.
- Experience working with multiple commercial data warehouses, ETL tools and data visualization tools.
- Extensive experience in 2 or more data subject areas, like finance, sales, marketing, people, product, etc.
- Experience with data access and security techniques, both inside and outside of a data warehouse.
- Experience creating data pipelines in support of near real-time event stream processing.
- Continuously reviews current data modeling principles and initiates any improvements to enable the implementation of the intended architecture.
- Create an inventory of the data and tools needed to implement a scalable data architecture.
Must Have Requirements:

- Possess a 4-year undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Data Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Applied Statistics, etc.
- Ability to communicate (spoken & written) fluently in Portuguese and English.
- Excellent and unblemished career record.
- Good character and personality and interpersonal skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred, or those with a short notice period (max 30 calendar days).
- Willing to work in a hybrid environment from Sao Paulo, Brazil (3 days office and 2 days remote).
