Strategic Vendor Services (SVS) is a service that aims to help strategic brands and partners develop sustainably with Amazon. SVS helps Amazon partners grow sustainably while increasing product availability and discovery. The Supply Chain Team specializes in helping partners with operational challenges to better align their logistics processes with Amazon, analyze supply chain problems, and develop sustainable solutions to avoid financial losses and bring the best experience to our customers. In this position, you will report to the category operations management leader and work to build the Supply Chain strategy for key accounts. You will be responsible for leading inventory forecast planning, purchase execution, and operational project improvement, acting as a key point of contact for inventory management for a segment of suppliers. You will work on identifying opportunities to simplify and automate tasks, ensuring that inventory systems and processes meet business needs, implementing controls over these. The ideal person will have the energy to deal with an environment where tactical and strategic activities happen in parallel.

In this position, you will manage medium to high complexity suppliers, working with limited guidance to deliver the service. You will also be responsible for small to medium impact projects, reaching SVS Supply Chain specialists in your category."

Key job responsibilities
- Analysis of supply chain operations using data and identifying causes of operational problems (inventory turnover, lead time, replenishment, confirmation rate, forecast)
- Definition of joint action plans with partners to eliminate Supply Chain defects and conduct regular progress reviews with suppliers to create sustainable long-term results
- Cooperate and build trust relationships across all functions and work levels within the partner organization (e.g., Key Account Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Customer Service Manager) as well as within Amazon (Vendor Managers - commercial managers, key account specialists, InStock Managers - Supply Chain managers, product/program managers, Operations Teams)
- Preparation of regular progress reviews to implement sustainable solutions and long-term results
- Organization and management of continuous improvement/Kaizen projects with suppliers
- Development of internal projects to further develop the SVS program (e.g., resource planning, internal and external communication, creation of mechanisms for problem-solving across the entire supplier population, report automation, etc.)- Bachelor's Degree (in Engineering, Business Administration, or fields related to Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics)
- Strong analytical skills, affinity with numbers, and problem-solving ability
- High level of self-organization, prioritization, and time management
- Experience in product/category management, business planning, and/or supply chain management
- Fluent/advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and willingness to learn on the job with resources provided by Amazon
- SQL
