The Role

As a Systems Administrator at Kyndryl, specifically as a Mainframe Network Support Analyst, you will resolve complex issues and identify potential future problems across various platforms and services. You will work at the forefront of new technology and modernization, collaborating with some of our largest clients worldwide.

Your daily tasks will include managing system data for clients, providing solutions and security compliance, supervising task queues, and working directly with technicians to prioritize tickets and deliver optimal solutions.

You will also have the chance to recommend modernization options, identify new business opportunities, and build relationships with other teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure operation, maintenance, and support of network communications within the Mainframe environment.
2. Analyze, resolve incidents, and implement improvements in network connectivity and performance on z/OS systems.

Technical and Professional Experience Required

• Mandatory: Degree in IT or Computer Networks.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware ESX, cloud management, and Mainframe networks in z/OS environments.
• Knowledge of protocols such as VTAM, TCP/IP, SNA, and file transfer protocols, along with change planning and incident resolution skills.
• Familiarity with z/OS network products like COMM SERVER, VTAM, OMPROUTE, SMTP, SSH, and security protocols like IPsec/VPN.

Desirable Technical and Professional Experience

• Knowledge or certification in frameworks like ITIL, DevOps, or networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP.
• Experience with automation, vulnerability management, and additional z/OS network products and technologies listed.

Interpersonal Profile

• Effective communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Curiosity, adaptability, teamwork, and emotional intelligence under pressure.
