Support the productivity of current vision inspection systems in manufacturing to improve process control and product quality. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems on vision inspection systems. Contribute to upstream process improvements using Lean Sigma tools and understanding of root causes of product ejections. Work as part of a global team providing technical support to various functions.
Engage in applied research activities to develop or improve products, processes, and systems. Support new project development, equipment validation, and documentation. Identify opportunities for process, machine, and equipment improvements to reduce costs, increase productivity, and enhance safety and quality. Conduct manufacturing process training, investigate internal rejections, lead improvement projects, analyze critical indicators, and communicate with SMEs regarding new equipment or installations. Ensure change control and risk management processes are followed, validate processes per company standards, maintain equipment, and adhere to quality policies and safety regulations.
