Strategic: Long-term – Budget / PO

Forecasting for suppliers
System parameterization
Validation of production vs. demand
Monitoring projects (phase in / phase out) to minimize material disposal costs.
Control of material availability, level, and quality to meet the production plan's service level.
Management of excess and obsolete inventory, prevention of material expiration, purchase requisition control, and management of minimum lot sizes versus stock sufficiency.
Follow-up with suppliers regarding postponements, early deliveries, cancellations.
Monitoring of key KPIs such as inventory level, capacity sufficiency, OTIF, and case fill.
Assessment of minimum purchase lots versus sufficiency.
Development of reports and tools to monitor and control operations related to raw material procurement and inventory (obsolescence and shortages).
Education: Degree in Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
MBA or Postgraduate in Logistics Management is a plus.
Analytical skills for managing inventory levels and projecting material needs, assessing risk of shortages.
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes from order need to manufacturing and stock replenishment. Ability to adjust plans based on demand.
Good interpersonal skills, knowledge of master data for materials (MTS / MTO), inventory policies, ABC/XYZ analysis.
Development of KPIs such as inventory level, capacity sufficiency, OTIF, case fill.
Evaluation of minimum purchase lots versus sufficiency.
Knowledge: ERP systems (SAP/PROTHEUS), Microsoft Office suite.
