Position: Analista de Doações e Contratos Pleno

Program/Department: Operações/GEF

Location: São Paulo

WRI Brasil is seeking a professional to support the Restaura Biomas Program, a project developed in partnership with Conservation International as a partner agency of the Global Environment Facility (GEF). WRI Brasil acts as the executing agency, with the Ministry of Environment (MMA) as the government partner, contributing to the implementation of the National Vegetation Recovery Policy (PROVEG). The program aims to meet the requirements and objectives aligned with WRI Brasil's strategy and the Union for Restoration.

The Restaura Biomas is part of the Global Ecosystem Restoration Program, a GEF initiative spanning 20 countries with over 200 million dollars allocated for ecological restoration.

The professional will join the Donations & Contracts team, handling contract analysis and review with partners, donors, suppliers, and service providers; monitoring contract validity, deliverables, deadlines, closures, and audits; risk and compliance analysis; preparing and reviewing budget proposals; updating management tools; identifying and implementing process improvements; updating information systems; and managing related routines. Availability for domestic and international travel is required.

Main activities and responsibilities
  1. Analyze and review contracts with partners, donors, suppliers, and service providers;
  2. Monitor and track contracts with partners, donors, and funders;
  3. Conduct contractual analyses (compliance, risks, validity, deadlines, deliverables, closure, and audits);
  4. Support teams in preparing budget proposals;
  5. Maintain and improve processes;
  6. Update tools and information in organizational systems;
  7. Interact with internal and external partners;
Necessary qualifications
  1. Degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Project Management, or Engineering;
  2. Experience in contract analysis, risk and compliance, data analysis, and budget proposal development;
  3. Technical skills in contract and project management, processes, and budgeting;
  4. Behavioral skills: analytical, critical thinking, questioning, proactive, communicative, dynamic (hands-on), persistent, problem solver, and attentive to deadlines and priorities;
  5. Advanced English proficiency;
  6. Experience with systems: Office Suite (intermediate/advanced Excel), Outlook, IBM Cognos, TM1, Workday, DocuSign;
