Analyst Accountant
The Analyst Accountant in the reporting area supports the preparation, analysis, and validation of financial and operational reports. The main objective of this role is to ensure accurate data collection, assist in the generation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and contribute to the standardization of reporting processes in line with internal policies and external regulations. This role requires close collaboration with accounting and finance teams, with a strong focus on accuracy and analytical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and updating of financial reports.
Collect and validate accounting data for reporting purposes.
Analyze variances and help explain deviations.
Support the monthly closing process.
Prepare dashboards or summaries with key performance indicators (KPIs) (new activity proposal)
Ensure consistency of reported data according to internal and external standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement and report automation initiatives.
Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting/Economics.
5 years of experience. Strong accounting, project management, and fixed asset experience.
Preferably, a minimum of 2 years of financial statement audit and reporting experience at an accounting firm and/or a large, multi-national company, is preferred.
Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial analysis.
Strong Excel skills, Google and familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, or others).
English proficiency (intermediate to advanced level) required for communication and reporting purposes.
Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Problem Solving, skilled at identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies or data issues efficiently.
Effective Communication, ability to clearly explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders (e.g., management, operations teams).
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Proactive, adaptability, fast learner, and team-oriented.
Ethics and integrity, maintains confidentiality and handles financial information with professionalism and responsibility.
Results-oriented, focused on delivering accurate, timely results that support business goals.
