The Opportunity

Serve as a technical reference in the tax area, focusing on compliance, tax planning, and strategic support to leadership. Ensure adherence to current legislation while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.

Your Impact

This position is responsible for strategic tax planning analyses across all Brazilian legal entities within the group (PdB, PBI, PABB, Pepsicola), with a focus on anticipating tax impacts, identifying efficiency opportunities, and ensuring full compliance with applicable legislation.

  1. Respond to tax-related inquiries from business areas, providing clear and accurate guidance aligned with current legislation.
  2. Define and communicate tax rules applicable to all new company operations, ensuring proper implementation and compliance.
  3. Periodically review and update existing tax rules used across the organization to reflect legislative changes and business needs.
  4. Support the tax manager in delivering training sessions to business teams, aiming to raise awareness and mitigate tax-related risks.
  5. Collaborate with the tax legal team on strategic analyses and technical assessments to identify opportunities for tax efficiency and risk reduction.
  6. Provide tax support for innovation projects under evaluation by the Marketing team, including taxation analysis for new products.
  7. Assist in the review of commercial and operational contracts from a tax perspective.
  8. Maintain updated reports and dashboards for the tax manager, ensuring visibility of key metrics and ongoing initiatives.
  9. Act as a key partner to the business in the implementation of the Brazilian tax reform, supporting impact assessments, process adjustments, and the transition to the new tax framework.
Who Are We Looking For?
  • Solid understanding of tax legislation; Understanding of tax accounting, including bookkeeping, calculation of taxes and contributions and development of tax returns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (with OAB) or Accounting (with CRC). A degree in Business Administration with an MBA in Tax Management is also acceptable.
  • Experience in the tax area, with a background in compliance, planning, and strategic projects.
  • Solid knowledge of federal and state taxes, ancillary obligations, tax law, direct taxes, and corporate tax.
  • Intermediate to advanced English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP and Mastersaf is a plus.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills (oral and written). Proactiveness. Resilience. Strategic thinking.
