Appnovation is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to join a Platform team supporting an enterprise AI assistant marketplace. This role emphasizes configuring and governing Claude, Google Gemini, and Copilot Studio, with cross-functional collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in software/platform engineering, hands-on AI platform experience, and strong knowledge of platform configuration, security risk assessment, and MCPs/integrations.

As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will join a highly motivated and experienced platform team supporting an enterprise AI assistant marketplace - Claude, Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio. This is a hands-on technical role focused on the platform layer: configuring and governing these tools, and evaluating the flood of connectors and integrations teams want to plug into them. You will work independently, partner with a technical lead and other engineering teams, and bridge colleagues from the low-code / agentic space into pro-code teams when needed. This is not a heads-down back-end role - strong cross-functional communication is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate third-party connectors, MCPs, and plugins for functionality and risk - deploy them in dev settings, test data flows and behavior, and report back with recommendations that feed the product roadmap.
• Configure and tune platform settings, controls, and restrictions across Claude, Gemini, and Copilot Studio.
• Build and implement custom MCPs and integrations.
• Build complex agents with multi-agent orchestration (Copilot Studio and Gemini).
• Provide platform-level troubleshooting and how-to support to colleagues, and coordinate with adjacent solution / forward-deploy teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in software / platform engineering, with experience in the last two years including hands-on work with LLM-based or AI assistant platforms.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in one or more of: Claude, Google Gemini, and Copilot / Copilot Studio (specialists or combinations both welcome).
• Deep knowledge of platform configuration and settings.
• Experience implementing custom MCPs and integrations.
• Ability to assess connectors / plugins for functionality and security risk.
• Hands-on multi-agent orchestration experience (for Copilot Studio / Gemini).
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies.
• A genuine engineer who can also communicate clearly with technical peers and non-technical colleagues (scientists, finance, etc.).
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-moving, newly formed team.

NICE TO HAVE

• Relevant vendor certifications – e.g., the Google Cloud Certified – Generative AI Leader certification, the Microsoft 365 Certified: Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals certification (Exam AB-900), and Anthropic’s Claude Certification Program (e.g., Claude Certified Developer or Claude Certified Architect) (or a comparable cloud architect certification).
