Overview
Role to hire: Senior Solutions Architect (L5). Location: Brazil (contractual scheme – fees via CNPJ). External Client: Mastercard Advisors. English level: Advanced (Spanish is a plus).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Postgraduate degree (MBA, MSc, or similar) in Data Engineering, Software Architecture, or Technology Management is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure, TOGAF, PMP, Agile/Scrum) are highly desirable.
Work Experience
- 5+ years of strong solution design and architecture experience within banking/financial services.
- Proven experience providing technical solutions to business needs across multiple technology layers (databases, backend, integration, UX).
- Experience facilitating design workshops with stakeholders (clients, Mastercard, partners).
- Experience producing High-Level Designs, system use cases, and integration patterns, as well as presenting to Architecture Review Boards/Design Authorities.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#).
- Familiarity with development frameworks (Spring, Django, ASP.NET MVC).
- Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, and cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Ansible, Chef).
- Awareness of emerging technologies (AI, ML, Blockchain) and their business applications.
- Languages: Native Portuguese, advanced English, Spanish is a plus.
Role Overview
As a Senior Managing Consultant – Solutions Architect, you will support technical scoping and implementation projects in the Digital Innovation and Digital Deploy domains. You will play a key role in translating the client’s business vision into comprehensive and scalable solutions, guiding technical teams throughout the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide solution design across mobile, web, backend, integrations, infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud.
- Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies into client solutions.
- Produce documentation including high-level and detailed designs, component diagrams, integration/delivery plans, and interface definitions.
- Support pre-engagement processes by defining technical solutions, resource planning, and implementation options.
- Drive requirement extraction sessions and architecture design during Digital Implementation Scoping.
- Act as QA on vendor-driven projects and as a direct Technical Architect in Tech Squad-driven projects.
