About the job

This position supports Accounts Payable Global Delivery. The role involves processing invoices, Travel & Expense Processing / Audit, handling queries & Month End Closing. Ability to adhere to SLAs, analyze invoice issues, and interpret problems & solutions is essential. This position is based in our Brazil office and reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Process invoices as per SLA
  • Build SOPs and facilitate knowledge transfer
  • Follow up on exceptions to ensure high first-pass yield
  • Review and approve Travel & Expense reports
  • Respond effectively to stakeholder inquiries
  • Identify deviations and suggest process improvements
  • Perform month-end activities related to Accounts Payable
Qualifications

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce
  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with strong Excel proficiency
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, especially AP module
  • Knowledge of indirect taxes (ICMS, PIS, COFINS, ISS) and handling retentions, VAT, and withholding taxes in Brazil and Colombia
  • Experience with account reconciliations, aging reports, vendor registration, and invoice processing
  • Ability to coordinate with BPO and tax compliance firms, and resolve payment queries
  • Skill in managing FX contracts and supporting during month/quarter-end closes
  • Understanding of Source-to-Pay processes and various payment types in Brazil and Colombia
  • Data visualization, analytics, and automation skills (RPA, Data Mining)
  • Knowledge of Lean/Quality methodologies and SOX compliance
  • Process improvement skills and motivation to implement enhancements
Location

This role is primarily remote, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with approximately 1% travel expected.
