What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

This role is for a public accounting professional seeking career growth, requiring independent judgment and decision-making on significant accounting matters. The candidate should have experience working for a multinational company under USGAAP and IFRS to join our South America regional finance team.

The person should demonstrate experience in managing processes and procedures relevant to their work area, with the ability to exercise sufficient decision-making to identify and propose solutions to leadership.

It is expected that the Senior Accounting Analyst can independently identify and apply appropriate company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues under general supervision with limited guidance and direction.

We seek a professional with developed communication skills to engage in daily interactions with leaders and/or peers from different functional groups, driving solutions and reaching agreements in situations of moderate complexity.

This position should impact our organization by proposing new initiatives, delivering solutions, driving cross-functional efforts, and recommending process improvements to leadership, while proactively anticipating needs within their area.

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform detailed variance analysis of financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the FP&A team.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, HR) on business initiatives and projects.
• Mentor junior analysts and support staff, providing training and development guidance.
