MAVI partners with US startups and SMEs, embedding accounting professionals within their finance teams. As Accounting Manager, you will lead end-to-end US client accounting and mentor a growing team in a fast-moving environment.

You will own Record-to-Report, manage close cycles, ensure US GAAP accuracy, and partner with Controllers and CFOs to deliver insights while driving process improvements and audit readiness across multi-location operations.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP expertise.
• Prior experience in team management or mentoring.
• Background in hospitality, restaurant tech, or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of close cycles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• ERP experience with NetSuite, Toast, QuickBooks, or similar.
• CA/CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with US time zone overlap.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure audit readiness and manage auditor interactions.

This is not a traditional accounting manager role. You will lead accounting operations for US clients while mentoring and developing your team in a fast-moving environment.

The Opportunity

As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations for US clients, managing a team of accountants and working directly with US Controllers and CFOs. You will be a key finance partner responsible for accuracy, scalability, and continuous process improvement.

What You Will Own
