Qualificações

Reporting to the Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager, the Accountant is a hands-on, detail, and results-oriented individual who will assist in the activities of the Global Capex CIP Team engaged in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of analyses, reconciliations, and ad hoc financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of journal entries based on detailed information obtained from various departments as part of the monthly close process. Journal entries include but are not limited to accruals, capitalized interest and project go-lives.
• Assist in the preparation of the Project Tracker – working with various business partners to obtain key project details to ensure accurate accounting.
• Compliance with SOX key control documentation.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and preparation of monthly schedules.
• Prepare/review account analysis; investigate and resolve necessary items.
• Preparation of schedules as part of the quarterly reviews and year-end audit.
• Assist the Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager on various special projects as requested.
• Supports the partnership with upstream data owners, internal and external auditors, and Global Process Manager to solve a variety of accounting matters.

Basic Qualifications:

• English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree, Accounting preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Understanding SOX compliance.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model (2 days on site) in Paulista Avenue (Consolação), from 9 am to 6 pm.
