Account Executive Tier II– Eastern Region USA & Canada

Salary: $100K-110K Base Salary
Total On Target Earnings: $120-$130+K

Do you have a minimum of ten years experience selling software solutions and services into the Telecom market vertical? Do you have a proven ability to develop new business and cultivate new opportunities within existing clients? If this describes you or someone you know, please contact me! You can be located in either the US or Canada. This position entails 50% travel.

Our client is a privately held premier OSS software developer with headquarters in Toronto, Ontario. Their client list is global with Tier I and II communication service providers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Managing existing positive relationships with senior management and key decision-makers in multiple customer organizations.
  2. Attainment of assigned revenue targets, customer satisfaction objectives, and other objectives as assigned.
  3. Overall accountability for the assigned customer relationships and all related customer activities (“CEO of the Account”).
  4. Prospecting and developing the accounts within their respective assignment.
  5. Positioning, selling, and educating all levels of customer within multiple customer organizations.
  6. Managing the tactical account plan execution processes within the account and coordination of the necessary resources required to optimize the success rate related to a new sale within the account.
  7. Demonstrating a clear understanding of client requirements, barriers, organizational political boundaries, decision-making processes, and technical influencing processes.
  8. Development of specific account strategies and tactical account plans to meet revenue, customer satisfaction objectives, and other objectives as assigned.
  9. Arranging meetings, presentations, and lab trials with key decision-making personnel at multiple levels and within multiple organizations in the assigned accounts.
  10. Engaging appropriate internal company resources and managing specific opportunities through the company sales engagement model.
  11. Managing the flow of necessary information (i.e., customer budgeting information, network information, 'product fit information', etc.) and representing the client to corporate headquarters.
  12. Delivering required reports and requests for additional information to management personnel by required deadlines. Increase the value of the company name within our target customers by demonstrating the highest of professionalism and leadership abilities in every aspect of the job.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum ten years previous experience working with telecom service providers and/or software vendors preferred.
  3. Proven ability to develop new business and achieve sales targets.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  5. Demonstrated ability to give presentations and demonstrations before an audience.
