Under the direction of the Director of Patient Access, the Access Center Supervisor manages on-site staff and liaises with Emerging Global Services Inc. staff. The supervisor ensures adherence to full registration protocols and addresses customer service concerns as the first escalation point.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting morning huddles
  2. Escalating scheduling or clinical concerns during the FPP operations huddle
  3. Auditing access center staff for compliance with Ambulatory Access Guidelines and NAHAM registration protocols
  4. Monitoring referrals from Federally Qualified Health Center partners
  5. Reporting outstanding referrals to division Chiefs and the Access Center Director
  6. Managing pre-registration denials by collaborating with schedulers and following NAHAM standards
  7. Monitoring Sharpen Access Dashboards
  8. Training entry-level registration and scheduling staff
  9. Tracking KPIs for the Access Team

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree, CHAA or CPC certification preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years in an Academic Medical Center; 1-2 years supervisory or team lead experience in the same setting.

Certification: NAHAM CHAA or CHAM eligibility preferred.

Compliance Salary Range Disclosure:

Expected Pay Range: $70,000 to $75,000
