Job Description: 3D Animator (Freelance)

Remote | YouTube Shorts | Freelance (Full-Time Preferred)

Salary: $1,300 – $1,800 USD/month, based on skills and experience

Edit Panda is a Shorts-first studio focused on gaming, simulation, and animated storytelling. We create weird, satisfying, and sometimes chaotic content that’s watched by millions every month. We’re building an elite team to scale our animation-first approach.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Animate short, snappy 3D scenes based on proven viral concepts.
2. Bring characters to life with expressive reactions.
3. Build dynamic simulations (sand, fluids, explosions, particles).
4. Use UV mapping or procedural texturing techniques.
5. Deliver vertical (9:16) edits with strong pacing and sound design.
6. Collaborate with a team focused on high-retention storytelling.

What We’re Looking For

1. Confident skills in Blender or similar software.
2. Strong eye for timing, movement, and scene flow.
3. Bonus: Experience with FluidLab or other simulation plugins.
4. Fast, feedback-driven workflow.
5. Understanding of short-form platforms and Gen Z visual language.
6. (Optional) Video editing and meme-style sound effects skills.
