Job summary

SThree in Bahrain seeks an experienced Vice President to join its Trade & Structured Commodity Finance team. This front-office origination role focuses on developing and executing trade finance and structured commodity finance transactions across banks, traders, NOCs and IOCs throughout the MENA region.

We are looking for a senior banker with 8+ years in trade or structured finance, a strong regional network, proven client origination skills, and deep credit assessment capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Trade Finance, Structured Trade Finance, or related areas.
• Proven ability to originate and manage transactions with financial institutions, traders, NOCS/IOCs.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute trade finance and structured commodity finance transactions across MENA and Africa.
• Develop and manage relationships with financial institutions, commodity traders, NOCs, and IOCs.
• Structure and manage working capital facilities, revolving credit facilities, receivables financing, guarantees, and syndicated lending.
• Manage transactions from client engagement through approval, execution and ongoing monitoring.
• Lead credit assessment and transaction structuring, including presentations to internal committees.
• Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Compliance and Risk to ensure smooth execution.
• Contribute to growth and development of the Trade & Structured Commodity Finance platform.
