Job summary

EliteHosts, based in Muharraq, is seeking a skilled truck driver responsible for operating various trucks to transport goods. The role requires a valid commercial driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Overview

As a truck driver in our transportation company based in Muharraq you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of trucks to transport goods and materials between locations You will need to have a valid commercial drivers license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate different types of trucks including semi-trailers flatbeds and box trucks
• Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Load and unload cargo using various equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage fuel usage and any incidents or delays
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road
• Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and report any issues or concerns

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid commercial drivers license CDL
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver preferred
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission trucks
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions
