Overview

As a Truck Driver in Manama you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a truck to transport goods and materials to various locations. Your main duties will include loading and unloading cargo, planning routes and completing necessary paperwork. You must have experience driving a truck and a valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
• Plan and follow the most efficient route based on delivery schedules.
• Communicate with the dispatch team to update on delivery progress.
• Complete necessary paperwork such as delivery receipts, logbooks and inspection reports.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a truck.
• Valid driver’s license for heavy vehicles.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.
• Physical fitness as the job requires loadingunloading of cargo manually at times.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Flexibility with work schedule as some deliveries may be time‑sensitive.
