Although your principal location of employment will be Bahrain, you may be expected to travel to other school sites in Oman and Egypt. Duties
  • As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be involved in the school's day-to-day operations
  • Responsible for directing the organization's IT strategy in order to provide high-quality IT support to all schools
  • Project manage IT services
  • Ascertain the availability of cost-effective IT systems
  • Ensure that the system's performance and security are managed to satisfy the needs of the users
  • Create IT budgets and present project proposals to municipal and corporate officials
  • Oversee technological projects that are in line with the organization's objectives
  • Assist in the development of vendor relationships and the creation of cost-effective contracts
  • Manage the IT Support team on a daily basis, covering all aspects of performance management
  • Oversee all IT services (local and cloud), servers, and network devices on a day-to-day basis
  • Oversee technical support and respond to user requests by promptly resolving all issues that arise
  • Oversee the School’s MIS administration
  • Oversee all other school-provided technology-based services, such as ID cards
  • Prepare weekly updates on IT operations for the Executive Headmaster
  • Provide end-user training on IT services
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, system design, and computer applications for use within an international school setting
  • Middle East experience in a similar role
  • Masters Degree in IT
  • Fluency in English
