As part of our expansion, we are looking for a skilled Stainless Steel Welder to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of the stainless steel components used in our marine products.

Job Summary
The Stainless Steel Welder will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling stainless steel components for our luxury houseboats and floating structures. You will work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that all welds meet our high-quality standards, adhere to safety protocols, and are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding on stainless steel components using TIG, MIG, or other welding techniques.
  • Fabricate and assemble stainless steel parts as per blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Inspect welds for precision, accuracy, and quality, ensuring no defects or weak points.
  • Maintain and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper setup and shutdown.
  • Work with the design and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related challenges.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of welding tools and equipment.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
  • Assist in training junior welders and apprentices in proper welding techniques.
  • Ensure that all welding work meets industry standards and the company’s quality requirements.

Qualifications And Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a stainless steel welder, preferably in the marine, construction, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques for stainless steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and best practices in welding.
  • Good physical condition and ability to work in challenging environments, including confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
